Welcome!
~🙠|🙢~

Hello, and welcome to my Message Wall & profile! I'm always open to conversation, so feel free to leave me a message!
Rules & Guidelines
  • Be Respectful.Do not threaten or hurt other users. Disagree with opinions respectfully.
  • Follow wiki guidelines. You can find these here.
  • Ask permission before copying any code. I'd love to help you learn to code, but copying code is disrespectful and rude. A good way to avoid it is to always add a 'coding credits' at the bottom of a coded item. It'll save you a lot of trouble, tells others looking at the badge that you coded it, and discourages code copying. A good way to do this is to type in: [[User:USERNAME|Coding Credits]]. You can even elaborate further on this with idea credits, image credits, etc., but this isn't necessary as long as you aren't claiming any of the material as solely yours.
  • T.H.I.N.K. before posting. This isn't part of our guidelines, but it's always better to ask yourself the following questions before posting. Is it...
    • True? Is what your saying from reliable sources and seems creditable to the best of your knowlege?
    • Helpful? Is this worth posting?
    • Interesting? This one is up to you on how you define it, but please don't put long stories without points on my wall.
    • Necessary? Do I need or want to know what you're about to tell me?
    • Kind? Will this hurt, or could potentially hurt anyone's feelings?

Together, these words make up the acronym T.H.I.N.K, which is handy for keeping discussions fun, open, and respectful.

  • Use common sense and internet safety. Remember, even if your message is directed to me, and you have a [PRIVATE] tag on it, people who really want to see it CAN see it. Posting anywhere on the wiki is posting for EVERYONE to see. Don't share personal info like passwords, locations, security info, etc. How far you take this is up to you, just be safe! If anything makes you feel uncomfortable, don't hesitate to let me or another Staff member know!
  • Respect and Use the Open closed code. This means that for conversations you want people to join, type [JOIN]. Stalkers, join these conversations! For conversations that it's OK to join, but it doesn't involve others, type [OPEN]. Stalkers, please only join these conversations if you have something you REALLY want to add. For conversations you don't want anybody joining, type [CLOSED]. Stalkers, please DO NOT join these conversations. And, for conversations you don't want ANYONE to join other than the user the message it's directed at, please type [PRIVATE]. Stalkers, please do not even LOOK at these conversations. Messages without a open or closed code will be assumed [OPEN]. In emergencies, these codes may be disregarded for Staff.
  • Have fun.Message me, have meaningful debates! I'd love to learn more about you :D
Administration & Messaging

I'm a content and thread moderator here, which means that my job is to look through wiki content and help improve it! This means I can do things that most users cannot, such as deleting and moving pages, and editing/moving others comments. Below are types of messages I may leave on your wall.

  • Page Deletion notice: [PAGE NAME]. This means that I'm informing you that a page you created/helped create is being deleted. This could be for a number of reasons:
  • The page was not factual
  • The page already existed
  • The page was unrelated to the wiki
  • The page contained minor information
  • The page was spam
  • The page did not follow wiki guidelines.

In my message, I'll explain exactly why the page was deleted. I will usually put a page deletion notice on the page, meaning it will be deleted in 24 hours, in case this is a mistake or you'd like to clarify something by responding to the message. More serious pages that need to be deleted will just be deleted with a notice, but I won't do this unless I know the page was intentionally created by a user who knew the consequences. Page deletion notices look like this:

This page is marked for deletion. It will be removed from the wiki in 24 hours.
This is due to the fact that this page is either unfactual, spam, or does not follow Coding Help Wiki Guidelines. If you disagree with its deletion or have another solution, please contact a Staff member for help.

Remember to check what links here and the page history before deletion.

Do not place a page marked for deletion badge on the page unless you have contacted an Staff member, or are one yourself.

  • Page Move Notice: [PAGE NAME] to [NEW PAGE NAME]. This means that I'm informing you that a page you created/helped create is being moved to a different name and place. Links to this page will no longer work, so please make sure to update everything to the new page name! Reasons pages may be deleted:
  • The page was named wrong
  • A misspelling in the page's title
  • A template or sandbox page labeled incorrectly
  • Or another reason.
  • Page Renovation Request: [PAGE NAME]. This means that I'm asking if I can make significant changes to a page you have created. I will give you about 48 hours to respond before I make these changes, but I can always revert them if needed. Some reasons I might do this are:
    • A large amount of content on the page was outdated.
    • The page teaches a harder way than necessary.
    • The page contains a lot of misspellings, etc.
    • Another reason.

I'll provide reasons in the message. I will provide reasons inside of the message.

  • Notice/Reminder: Notices are for anything I think you need to know! For example, you said you would fix a page where you had a bunch of misspellings but didn't. I'll provide the reminder needed in the message. Notices can also be used when you have made a minor violation to our guidelines, or done something that sort of isn't cool.
  • Warning: Warnings are for more severe breaks of wiki rules. The message will be titled Warning: [RULE/VIOLATION]. Warnings expire in 2 weeks.
  • Minor Block: Minor blocks are for after you have gotten 3 warnings or severely broken a wiki rule. Minor blocks usually last about 1-2 weeks. If you have 3 minor blocks within 2 weeks of each other, you'll get a regular block.
  • Block: Blocks are for after you've gotten 3 warnings for breaking severe wiki rules. These can be from 2 weeks or up to a year.
  • Infinite Block: Infinite blocks are for after you've gotten 3 blocks without 1 week between them. You may also be underage, however, if I know your age, I can block you instead for until you are 13 or over.
  • Requested Block: Requested blocks can be as long or as short as you want; usually to break wiki addiction. Message me if you want one. These do not go on your record.
  • Messaging me. You can send me any of the above by adding a 'REQUEST' right before it. For example, you could send me a message titled: REQUEST: Page move: [PAGE NAME] to [NEW PAGE NAME]. This means that you're asking me to move a page! You'll put reasons in the body, and if I feel that your request is valid, I will complete it and notify you.

PLEASE do not send me spam or chain messages. Also, try not to respond multiple times to a message unless you NEED to. If I don't respond in about 48-ish hours, reply with something like '~Notification~' in case I missed your message. Thanks!
