We want our admin team staffed by well-behaved people who know our wiki well. If you'd like to join us, here's what you need to know. If you are unsure of what any of these roles entail, see Help:User Rights.
Not all requirements are strict. Sometimes, we promote active users to the team if they don't fulfill every requirement. If you haven't met certain requirement(s), explain it clearly in your application. (For example: "I'm blocked on 1 wiki because its admin was convinced I was his ex-girlfriend trying to catfish him. As a lesbian, I'm confident I am not.")
Even if you meet the requirements, it does not guarantee promotion. We can deny applications for any reason.

What we look for
The following are not strict requirements, but they are qualities we consider when deciding on promotions:
- Professional conduct. Respect and good character are important factors.
- Good grammar. Presenting well-written edits and posts reflects positively.
- Neutrality and fairness. Team members must remain impartial and avoid heated arguments.
- Activity. Team members need to respond quickly to reports and be actively involved.
- Helpfulness. If you assist other users and share knowledge, you are more likely to be promoted.
- Knowledge of coding concepts and languages. While not essential for all roles, understanding coding topics is beneficial.
- Patience and tolerance. We expect moderators to handle situations calmly and keep good relationships with users.
Apply
To apply, fill out this form and message it to an administrator. The administrator will, if you meet the requirements, inform the community, and they will review your application, and if you receive 75% favorable responses within two weeks, the current wiki staff will review your qualifications and make a decision based on the following:
- Meeting all of the requirements:
- Edit/post count.
- Wiki block status.
- Time since last warning/block.
The staff will then deliberate on the application.
Notice:
- For a vote to count, the voter must provide at least one or two sentences explaining their stance. Votes without reasoning will not be tallied.
- The staff may decide there are enough moderators currently, but if this is the reason for rejection, your application will be kept in consideration for future openings.
- In rare cases, staff may reject an application despite community approval due to nondisclosed reasons.
